The Village of Perth-Andover Council strives to practice the following mission statement and guiding principals

The Mission Statement of the Municipal Council shall be:
We are elected to serve the citizens of Perth-Andover. We do this with integrity by being open, responsive and fiscally accountable corporate body, dedicated to providing services leading to healthy, well planned and economically vibrant community for all to live and work in.

The principals that we foster are:
1. We will listen.
2. We will provide services which are prompt, reliable and cost effective.
3. We will continually strive to improve the quality of everything we do.
4. We will communicate openly and act with integrity and accountability.
5. We will display a courteous and considerate attitude in all of our affairs.
6. We will invest in the competence of our staff, leading and empowering them to make effective and pro active decisions in the workplace.
7. We will ensure our amenities are well maintained and welcoming to all.



Councilor Information

Committees/Responsibilities: Hospital Coalition, Staff Relations, Public Relations, UMNB & All committees of council

Bio Facts: Karen's former occupation was a school teacher. She has been serving as a councilor for 9 years. She has been Mayor of Perth-Andover for the past 6 years. She also serves as President for the Board of Directors of UMNB.
Karen is married to Robert Titus and has two children Tami and Tim. She is the proud grandmother of 5 grandchildren; Brett, Bradley, Brittany, Lauren, and Logan.



Deputy Mayor Dr. Carter J. Kennedy

Committees/Responsibilities: Public Relations (Library, Hospital and Schools), Special Projects, Beautification

Bio Facts: Dr. Carter Kennedy has served on council for two years. He is also a recognized family physician in Perth-Andover. Dr. Kennedy and wife, Karen have three children Kelan, Zoe, and Jeran.



Councilor Susan Murchison

Committees/Responsibilities: Finance, Light and Water Commission, Recreation (Museum)

Bio Facts: Susan works as a certified general accountant. She is currently serving her 12th term on council.
Susan & her husband, Gerald, have 2 daughters, Karen and Catherine and 5 grandchildren, Zachary, Jessica, Taylor, David, and Ethan.



Councilor Rick Beaulieu

Committees/Responsibilities: Economic Development, Valley Solid Waste

Bio Facts: Rick is a member of the Department of Natural Resources Ranger Force. Rick and his wife Pam have 3 children, Pirie, Alicia, and Katie, and one grandson Kennedy. They also have a house full of pets. Rick has volunteered his services as a hockey coach for so long that he has lost count of the number of years.

Bio Facts: This is David's first term on council. David's family includes his wife Shelley and their two children Issac & Maddison. David works as an accountant.

Bio Facts: This is James third term on council. He & his wife Linda have three daughters.
